INSIGHTS: All of Meridian’s NSW Insurance Principals recognised as top lawyers in latest Doyle’s Guide 2017

November 8, 2017

The NSW listings in this year’s Doyle’s Guide 2017 for the top New South Wales insurance lawyers and law firms was released and Meridian was the stand out performer and top ranking insurance law firm when taking into account all insurance areas. An outstanding achievement.  We await notification of the Victorian winners next week following the recognition by Doyle’s of Dennis Cronin last month for his expertise in professional indemnity in Queensland.

Impressively every one of our insurance Principals in the Sydney and Newcastle offices, as well as Catherine Osborne, was recognised as best in class for their expertise and abilities in the following areas of practice:

  • Public Liability
  • Professional Indemnity
  • Medical Negligence and Malpractice

Those recognised were Nevena Brown, Julie Somerville, Robert Crittenden, Andrew Saxton, Marianne Nicolle, Catherine Osborne and Paul Baker.

A special mention goes to Robert Crittenden and Andrew Saxton who classified as the ‘preeminent’ lawyers in Public & Product Liability and Medical Negligence & Malpractice categories. As such they have been placed as the top lawyers in NSW in casualty and medical negligence respectively.

As a law firm, Meridian Lawyers was also recognised as one of the leading medical negligence and professional indemnity legal practices in NSW.

In an incredibly competitive landscape, we are thrilled by this acknowledgement that Meridian Lawyers has established itself as a leading Australian insurance law firm.
