Veterinary
Recent debate in Australia has focused on animal welfare issues, particularly following the political and public reaction to live trade exports. We work with veterinarians to ensure you understand the legislation and professional codes guiding your legal and ethical responsibilities.
Supporting veterinarians
We support the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) and its members in understanding and dealing with the consequences of any breach of their standards of professional conduct and care.
We assist practitioners who face complaints of unsatisfactory and professional misconduct, and in connection with claims for damages. The veterinary profession maintains a large degree of control over veterinarians’ professional practice, guided by the AVA Code of Professional Conduct.
