Senior Associate

Emma’s legal experience is focused on insurance and health law.

She is a dedicated and technically proficient lawyer with a strong track record in defending insurers, medical, and healthcare providers, in the public and private sectors.

Emma is regularly engaged to represent clients in litigated and non-litigated matters across a range of jurisdictions and forums. She is experienced in defending matters in civil proceedings, coronial investigations and inquiries, disciplinary investigations conducted by AHPRA, hearings before Medical Boards and in investigations and conciliations conducted by the Health Services Commissioner.

She has appeared before all major Victorian and Tasmanian Courts, and the High Court, as well as the Coroner’s Court of Victoria and the Coronial Division of the Tasmanian Magistrates Court.

An active member of the Medico-Legal Society of Victoria, Emma is also passionate about contributing to the legal industry through educating and mentoring junior lawyers.
