Sarah has significant experience as an insurance litigator. She works for national and global insurers and their insureds in a range of litigated and unlitigated claims. Sarah’s focus areas of practice are professional indemnity claims and general liability claims. She also provides coverage advice and acts in property damage and public liability claims.
She has worked for a range of insured parties in professional indemnity claims including solicitors and barristers, construction professionals, accountants, other finance professionals, insurance brokers, and real estate agents.
Sarah is experienced in defending matters in the District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales, and also has litigation experience from New Zealand.
Prior to joining Meridian Lawyers, Sarah gained experience in boutique insurance litigation firms in Australia and New Zealand. She also clerked for High Court Judges and Associate Judges in criminal and civil jurisdictions in New Zealand.
Sarah is a member of the Australian Insurance Law Association (AILA), the Law Society of NSW, the Young Insurance Professionals (YIPS) Australia, Women in Insurance, and the Claims Discussion Group.
