About the Program
Our year-long Graduate Program, available in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, is tailored for law graduates who are not yet admitted. It offers the opportunity to explore what a future at Meridian could look like through meaningful work and broad exposure across the firm.
- In Melbourne and Sydney, graduates may have the opportunity to complete rotations across our General Insurance/Professional & Financial Risks, Health, and Corporate and Commercial practice groups.
- In Brisbane, graduates may have the opportunity to complete rotations across our General Insurance, Professional & Financial Risks, and Health practice groups.
As a Graduate at Meridian, you will:
- Rotate through multiple practice areas across the firm’s key specialties
- Work on real matters, supporting our lawyers in delivering practical, commercially focused legal solutions
- Receive guidance and mentorship from Principal Lawyers and senior legal professionals
- Be part of a team that values collaboration, diversity, and technical excellence
- Access ongoing professional development, including support to complete your PLT
- Participate in firm-wide networking and social events
- Enjoy a hybrid work environment and a culture that recognises and rewards excellence
Eligibility
To apply, you must:
- Be a recent law graduate or in your final semester of law studies
- Not be admitted as a solicitor
Key Dates
- Applications for the 2027 National Graduate Program closed on Sunday 16 August 2026
- Successful applicants will commence in early 2027
- Details of the 2028 National Graduate Program will be published on this page in due course.
Shortlisted applicants are currently progressing through the interview and selection process, with offers to be made to successful candidates.
