Jessica Dodds
Jessica has more than 10 years’ experience in insurance law and commercial litigation.
She is highly experienced in leading a high volume of complex, high-quantum, multi-party disputes across all Australian jurisdictions. Jessica advises and acts for major financial institutions, service providers, corporate entities, government departments, statutory authorities, and law firms in commercial disputes and negotiations, insurance litigation, insolvency, and motor and general insurance recovery matters. She also has strong expertise advising and representing clients on policy coverage and indemnity issues, quantum and liability assessments, and dual insurance claims.
Jessica brings extensive knowledge and capability in insolvency and contract law and is skilled in negotiating and drafting commercial agreements. She regularly advises clients on compliance with, and obligations under, the National Credit Code, National Consumer Credit Protection Act, Corporations Act, and APRA, AFSA, and ASIC standards and regulations.
Jessica is a member of the Australian Insurance Law Association, the Australian Institute of Credit Managers and the Queensland Law Society.
