Natasha Stojanovich

Natasha is an experienced litigator with particular expertise in insurance and construction disputes, and a proven track record of resolving matters efficiently and cost effectively for her clients. She specialises in defending professional indemnity claims, predominantly complex civil disputes involving construction professionals, and has considerable experience successfully defending professionals in disciplinary prosecutions.

Natasha has represented architects, engineers and building surveyors as well as builders, property valuers and real estate agents, and she also handles insurance recoveries. Her work includes managing claims involving non-compliant building products, including flammable cladding, and she regularly advises clients on navigating and mitigating the significant liability risks these products present.

In addition to defending construction and property professionals, Natasha has acted for professionals across a wide range of disciplines, including the financial, health and allied health sectors and has experience managing D&O, EPL and management liability claims. She regularly acts as both defence and coverage counsel and provides indemnity advice to her clients.

Her clients include councils, government departments and various statutory authorities, and she has notable experience defending professional indemnity claims against councils. Natasha has also advised a range of commercial clients in contentious matters, including several publicly listed and large multinational companies across a variety of industries.

Natasha has considerable experience in litigation in the Federal, Supreme and County Courts as well as at VCAT, and she has acted in class action litigation. She is also a proficient public speaker, regularly delivering in-house training for her clients and presenting at conferences and industry events.
