Abby Neylon joined Meridian Lawyers’ Melbourne office in 2019. She has ten years’ experience almost exclusively in health law. She has assisted medical practitioners, public and private hospitals and healthcare providers in a diverse range of matters. This has enabled Abby to develop an extensive understanding of medical negligence claims, coronial investigations and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency investigations.
Abby has acted for medical practitioners on instruction from their medical defence organisations. She also has five years of public sector experience with Victorian public hospitals.
Abby is also experienced in providing regular ‘on-call’ services to health practitioners, seeking urgent medico-legal advice, without requiring them to log a claim on their insurance policy.
