  • Tighan Tosen (Newcastle) promoted to Associate
  • Sarah Twinn (Brisbane) promoted to Associate
  • Tanya Sayers (Brisbane) promoted to Associate
  • Hannah Shiel (Sydney) promoted to Associate

Meridian’s Managing Principal, Paul Baker, said “Since joining Meridian last year, Daniel has shown considerable drive, enthusiasm and commitment to the firm and our clients, recognised in his well-deserved promotion to Principal in our Brisbane office.”

Daniel’s legal focus is health law, public liability, property and professional indemnity based claims and he manages litigation and dispute resolution in a wide range of matters for insurers and self-insurers in the health, transport, mining and energy industries. He was the inaugural winner of the Australian Lawyers Weekly ‘30 Under 30’ Awards, celebrating emerging legal talent.

“Nicole Cerisola is a rising star, working exclusively in the field of insurance law since being admitted to practice in 2006, with an emphasis on public liability and professional indemnity claims in the health sector. She has excelled in her work with several of our key clients, with a proven track record as part of the Sydney Insurance team,” said Mr Baker.

“I congratulate the firm’s four new Associates, who have each demonstrated engagement in business development activities, legal acumen and future leadership attributes.

“These promotions reflect Meridian’s continuing growth and, following our recent Melbourne Insurance Team appointments of David Randazzo as Principal, Andrew Ray as Senior Associate and Julee Ng as Solicitor, the firm is looking forward to an exciting year in 2017.”
