Jessica Jones
Jessica has over 10 years’ experience practising health law in Victoria, advising insurers and healthcare providers. Her expertise focuses on advising and defending clients across the areas of medical indemnity, coronial investigations, disciplinary proceedings, and public liability.
She has represented clients in complex litigation before the Supreme and County Courts of Victoria and regularly advises on liability, risk, and regulatory compliance. Jessica has acted for a broad range of healthcare professionals and institutions, including in high-profile coronial inquests and disciplinary hearings. She has a passion for advocacy and often appears for clients in mediations, interlocutory applications, and directions hearings.
Jessica is admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria, and holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and History.
She has been involved in delivering CPD and training programs and has co-presented with medical professionals on topics of birth-related injuries and diagnostic challenges. Jessica also provides insights on insurance and health litigation and regulatory developments, with her work published in several leading insurance journals.
