Louis advises clients in the insurance, resources, financial, and construction sectors, with a particular focus on defending personal injury and property damage claims. He is regularly engaged in disputes involving Australian Consumer Law, contract interpretation, and complex insurance issues including policy coverage and double insurance.

Louis represents a broad range of corporate clients, including insurers, reinsurers, mining companies, construction contractors, premises owners, sporting organisations, manufacturers, retailers, financial services providers, and insurance brokers.

He has acted in various jurisdictions, including the Supreme Court of Western Australia (and its Appellate Division), District and Magistrates Courts of Western Australia, the District Court of South Australia, the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory, and the Local Court of New South Wales.
