Scott has 30 years’ experience advising on coverage and indemnity disputes under professional indemnity, contract works, and ISR policies, as well as litigated claims and recoveries. He also has experience in public and product liability claims, ranging from managing high-volume attritional loss portfolios to class actions and catastrophic losses.
Scott’s in-depth specialist expertise, superior client service, and understanding of the insurance market is demonstrated through partnering with Australian insurers, the Lloyd’s market, and small and large corporate organisations. Working with a variety of clients provides him with a deep understanding of client needs and business drivers. This allows Scott to collaborate with clients to provide technical advice with a commercial focus and to proactively manage risk to reputation.
Scott is acknowledged for his construction, infrastructure, and personal injury litigation by the Best Lawyers in Australia and is acknowledged by the Asia Pacific Legal 500.
Scott is also a Graduate of the Company Directors’ Course of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
