Timothy’s practice is dedicated exclusively to insurance law and is characterised by his diligent and commercial approach.
With a broad depth of experience and a varied client portfolio, Timothy has acted for local and international insurers, particularly in public and product liability claims, property damage claims, indemnity disputes, workers’ compensation matters, transportation accidents, life/income protection insurance disputes, dust diseases litigation including asbestos, silicosis and yeast claims, as well as recovery actions.
Timothy’s expertise also includes acting for large organisations including self-insurers and local government authorities, as well as defending claims against builders, developers, owners/occupiers, manufacturers, suppliers and sporting clubs/associations. Timothy has experience in complex insurance litigation in a variety of jurisdictions around Australia, and he has practised as a solicitor in both Victoria and South Australia.
Timothy is also a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Australian Insurance Law Association.
