Sheridan’s practice is focused on public liability and professional indemnity claims.

Her experience includes managing matters for insurers/underwriting agencies, primarily assisting in the defence of personal injury and property damage claims brought against insureds in various industries. Categories of insureds include allied health practitioners, personal trainers and gyms, residential and commercial property owners, body corporates, and child care centres.

Sheridan also represents health practitioners who are the subject of disciplinary inquiries. She is experienced in responding to complaints before the Office of the Health Ombudsman (OHO), the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland.

Sheridan is also experienced in latent diseases claims, specifically defending claims arising from workers’ exposure to respirable crystalline silica dust.
